The Cryptid Protection Program

Deep in the wilderness near our homes are people who need your help. Cryptids are losing their homes at an exponential rate. Our team is working tirelessly to rehome these amazing creatures and host families make that possible, taking cryptids in and giving them a safe place until they can return.

What is a Cryptid?

You might be aware of some of the most famous cryptids like Bigfoot, Moth man, and The Yeti, however there are so many more.

Our hidden friends in the wild are non-human humanoid creatures that thrive on obscurity and solitude. While they might pull a prank on a hiker or two, their sweet nature sets them apart.

Meet the Cryptids

Nessie

Nessie

We’ve teamed up with the European branch to help Ms. Nessie who will be returned to her ancestral home as soon as local investigations are finished. She is great with children and loves to hear ghost stories.

Big Foot

Big Foot

Mr. Big needs a host family near the woods with easy access to a river or lake. While he prefers to go unseen, once you gain his trust you’ll find a guy who loves a good barbeque and a pun.

Mothman

Mothman

Mr. Man needs a host family near a woodland that regularly gets fog and has nights of impenetrable darkness. He loves to play Yahtzee and Scrabble, but will need help handling smaller pieces.

Our representatives are excited to answer your questions and find a cryptid that is a good fit for you.

Complete the Trainings

Next you complete a series of trainings that connect you with a support group of other hosts, give you all the tools you need, and give you a chance to send letters back and forth with your new cryptid friend

Bring Home Your New Friend

Once you’ve completed the short trainings, you get to welcome your cryptid home! While most cryptids need a place for just a short stay, know that you’re making a lifelong impact in their lives (and yours)

Cryptids everywhere need you!

We need volunteers to change lives. Every day more cryptids need relocation. Thanks to people like you, we can make sure these beautiful creatures
